यात्री गण कृप्या ध्यान दीजिए ...



ये रेलगाड़ी की छुक-छुक करती आवाज़ ..
ये पटरियों की कपकपाहट का एहसास ...
ये स्लीपर की बोगी में सफर करता मैं आज  ..
ये जो 7 रूपए की चाय का लुत्फ उठाता पूरा समाज  ... 

ये थरथराती सी रेल का हमेशा सा मिज़ाज  ..
ये जो "यात्री गण कृप्या ध्यान दीजिए" बोलने का मधुर सा अंदाज  ...
कभी अंजानो से पॉलिटिक्स पे बहस करता मैं आज  ..
तो कभी क्रिकेट के विशेषज्ञ की भूमिका निभाता पूरा समाज  ... 

कभी समोसा खाता तो कभी चाय की चुस्की लगाता  ..
कभी ट्रेन में शॉपिंग करते दिखता  ...
तो कभी मोबाइल चार्ज करने की लाइन में लोगों से लड़ते दिखता  ..
ये सफर है बड़ा ही अनोखा जो करता हूँ मैं आज  ...
एक मुसाफिर में तनहा सा मंज़िल का इंतज़ार करता हूँ मैं आज  ...

    Very awesomely describe saumy..
    You have described the common things in a very unique way. I specially like how we all become specialist in so many things while talking to strangers. I had some life defining moments during the train journey.

    Very nice Saumy! Evoked so many old memories of train rides as a child! I will admit though that I couldn't read all of it, I seem to have forgotten how to read Hindi! I gave up on the last three lines ��

    Yes! I can see myself in the train as I read Saumy! I used to go home from college in the weekends in train(once a month). those were the most interesting days of my life, learning people around, reading novels, searching for chai wala and of course pitying those small children made to beg in trains.
    I remember the phone charging line too
